Frequently Asked Questions

  • At TaylorMade Wellness, we offer reiki, sound healing, and birth chart readings. Each service can be booked individually or combined into one session based on what feels right for you.

  • TaylorMade Wellness offers both virtual and in-person sessions.

  • Absolutely. You can mix and match services based on what you're feeling called to. Clients usually find that combinations enhance their experience. We can talk through what makes the most sense for you when you’re ready to book.

  • Our offerings are not religious practices — they are wellness modalities that work with the body's natural energy in order to promote healing and balance. We use astrology as a tool for self-reflection and understanding. Many of our clients come from faith backgrounds, including Christianity, and find that this work complements rather than conflicts with their beliefs. Our space is inclusive and welcome to all.

  • Reiki works on multiple levels — physical, mental, and emotional — which is part of what makes it so powerful. While every experience is unique, some of the most common benefits clients notice include:

    • Reduced stress and anxiety

    • Deep relaxation and improved sleep

    • Relief from physical tension and pain

    • Increased mental clarity and focus

    • Emotional release and a greater sense of balance

    • A deeper connection to self and overall sense of wellbeing

Most clients notice a shift after just one session — though the benefits tend to deepen over time with consistent practice.

  • Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive energy healing practice. During your session, you'll lie down fully clothed while your practitioner uses hovering hands or light touch to work with your body's energy field. Acting as a conduit, your practitioner channels universal life force energy — what many refer to as the highest divine light — to support your body's natural ability to heal and restore balance.

Most clients describe feeling deeply relaxed, warm, or sometimes emotional as energy begins to shift and become unblocked. Every experience is unique, and there's no wrong way to receive it. You just have to be open to it.

  • Reiki and sound healing are gentle, non-invasive practices that are generally safe for most people. However, there are a few situations where we'd encourage you to consult with your doctor before booking or to let us know ahead of time so we can make the best plan for you.

You may want to check with your healthcare provider first if you:

    • Are pregnant

    • Have a pacemaker or other implanted medical device

    • Have a history of seizures or epilepsy

    • Are currently undergoing chemotherapy or radiation treatment

    • Have had a recent surgery or have open wounds

For sound healing specifically, please let your practitioner know if you have any hearing sensitivities, tinnitus, or cochlear implants, as certain frequencies and instruments may not be appropriate.

None of this is meant to be a barrier. It's about making sure your experience is as safe and supportive as possible. When in doubt, reach out before booking and we'll figure it out together.

  • Both options are designed to make your healing experience as accessible and comfortable as possible.

Virtual sessions are held over Zoom. Once booked, you'll receive a link to join at your scheduled time. All you need is a quiet space where you feel comfortable and won't be interrupted. Distance is no barrier to this work — energy moves freely regardless of where you are, and many clients find virtual sessions just as powerful as being in person.

Mobile sessions are available for clients who prefer to be seen in the comfort of their own home or office. We come to you, bringing everything needed for your session. All we ask is that you have a quiet, comfortable space available.

Not sure which option is right for you? Feel free to reach out for a free consultation.

  • What you do after your session matters just as much as the session itself. Your body has just done some real work and it deserves the same intentional care. Here are a few things I recommend:

    • Drink plenty of water. Energy work can stir things up on a cellular level and hydration helps your body process and release what came up during the session.

    • Rest if you need to. It's completely normal to feel tired, emotional, or even a little spacey afterward. Honor that. Give yourself permission to slow down.

    • Avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours. Your body is in a heightened state of healing — alcohol can interfere with that process.

    • Eat something grounding. A light meal or snack after your session can help bring you back into your body and keep you feeling balanced.

    • Journal if you feel called to. Emotions, memories, or insights can surface after a session. Getting them out on paper can be really helpful.

    • Be gentle with yourself. Avoid overstimulating environments or high stress situations right after if you can. Protect your energy.

Everyone responds differently, so pay attention to what your body is telling you. If anything feels off or you have questions after your session, don't hesitate to reach out.
